Our Club History
Pac Power was originally formed as a satellite club of the Labrador Tigers in 2005. During that first year, we managed to field an Under 9’s and an Under 10’s team. 2006 saw us add a few Super 8’s to our Club list to increase our numbers to just 25. Since then the Club has grown substantially and by the end of the 2009 season we had over 130 players registered with Pac Power. Due to this growth and strong volunteer base, Club members voted for Pacific Pines Junior AFL Club to exist as a separate entity; therefore at the end of 2007 we became an incorporated association. Although we are no longer a satellite club of Labrador we still have strong links with the Tigers and will remain their feeder club. This association will ensure our juniors have a direct path to playing seniors in the future, so we hope this connection between the two clubs remains strong. The small ground at Wajin Park, Pacific Pines Boulevard was our home for the first four years of operation. In 2009 Pac Power moved to a full sized AFL oval at McAuley Parade, Pacific Pines. This larger sports field gave players and coaches the much needed space required for training, which was not available at Wajin Park. Pac Power can now play modified games simultaneously and more importantly a full sized oval will allow the Club to field youth age teams. 2010 Goals Are:
